They gained recognition for their ambitious blend of post-hardcore, emo, and progressive elements with theatrical and classical arrangements, particularly showcasing on their sophomore album Bone Palace Ballet, which reached #5 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Independent Albums chart.
About Hawthorne Heights:
Hawthorne Heights is a rock band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2001, known for their early 2000s emo-punk success. Their first two albums went gold, with the hit single “Saying Sorry,” though they faced setbacks after guitarist Casey Calvert’s death in 2007. Despite lineup changes, they’ve continued releasing music, including recent albums Bad Frequencies (2018) and The Rain Just Follows Me (2021).
